The couples included actor Supakit Tangkhasawat and bride Anoma Sarankhirin, actress Claudia and Akkharapol Wichitranont, PM's Office Minister Sathit Wongnongtoey and bride Suporn and former Elephant Queen pageant first runner-up Jitrawadi Chutimantra and groom Sutthipong Narongpan. After a water-blessing on Friday night, they released one million marine creatures into the sea before five couples dived to wed underwater at Had Chao Mai Marine Park while others opted to do so on land.

In Surin, 32 Thai and foreign couples married on elephant back in front of 6,000 witnesses at Elephant Village in Tha Tum district while 19 couples held a mass Thai traditional wedding at Suan Chom Nan Chalerm Prakiat Park in Phitsanulok's Muang district. Phuket hosted an ancient Chinese ceremony for eight Taiwanese couples and one Thai couple.
