Tourism Thailand collaborates with VISA for ‘Grand Sale’ - Thailand - VISA - TAT - shopping - promotion


Thailand’s 11th annual Grand Sale has kicked off for the year and run straight through August, hoping to draw in international travellers who not only want the tourist attractions but are also ready to buy up big.



Partnering with VISA this year, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced that VISA holders will be able to enjoy special benefits and promotions in 12 destinations around Thailand.

“As the Official Card of the Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2009, we believe strongly in supporting the Royal Thai government and Tourism Authority of Thailand in promoting and re-building the tourism industry in Thailand,” said Stuart Tomlinson, Visa Malaysia Country Manager.

One offers sees any tourists who charge THB500 baht and above on their VISA card during the sale eligible to win some Prima Gold in a lucky draw, with 100 prizes up for grabs.

Other promotions, special prizes and exclusive benefits VISA cardholders can access include offers from airline, hotel department stores, golf courses, spas, shopping malls and even tour operator partners.
