Thailand Rice Art

In this photo taken on Aug. 23, 2009 and released on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009 by the environmental activist group Greenpeace, ”rice art” covering 16,000 square meters area in a field in Ratchaburi province in central Thailand, made by planting two varieties of organic rice and depicting traditional rice farming. Greenpeace advocates growing organic farm products and oppose production of genetically engineered food, which it says can be harmful to the growing environment.
