BlackBerry Bold 9700 smart phone launched in Thailand - Thailand - Technology - BlackBerry - RIM - Smartphone


The Thai mobile phone operator DTAC together with Research In Motion (RIM) today announced the launch of the BlackBerry Bold 9700 smart phone.



DTAC customers can pre-order the new model at the Mobile Expo 2010, which takes place from 4-7 February 2010 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, Bangkok.

”We are excited to offer the latest Bold 9700, a great device for business professionals and young achievers. “We believe that the new BlackBerry Bold 9700 smart phone will serve the needs of both business users and consumers who enjoy high performance device with style,” said Wansit Saiyawan, senior vice president of international business, DTAC.

BlackBerry Bold 9700 smart phone will be available commercially at DTAC centres, TG Fone, JAY MART, i-mobile, Blisstel and IEC shops, from 15 February onwards.  The price of Bold 9700 starts at around US$600 excluding value added tax.

The BlackBerry Bold 9700 smart phone offers top-of-the-line performance, functionality and features with support for 3G HSDPA networks around the world, a next-generation (624 MHz) processor, 256 MB Flash memory, built-in GPS and wi-fi, a 3.2MP camera and a sharp, dazzling display. The camera comes with auto-focus, image stabilisation, flash and 2X digital zoom and video recording.
