London property Printworks well received

High-end London project, Printworks, by developer First Base, has sold 19 units in Singapore over the weekend, says Savills.

Here to promote the luxury project, Barry Jessup, commercial director for First Base said: “We are using top name architects and high quality designs to cater to cusotmers. We also wanted to create an environemnt of high quality living instead of just bricks and mortar. We are planning on creating a thriving community, something to give back the community as well as high-quality project.”

Printworks is a mixed-use development with 164 apartments located in central London, Zone 1 Elephant & Coral area. It is part of a regeneration area where old bulidings are being replaced with new homes, retail, and community areas. It is also five inutes from the West End and various leisure spots. It has a ground floor of 12, 000 sq ft for which, First Base is in talks with an art gallery and architectural practice to take up space in the area. T

Said Jessp: “Glen Howe, a famous north England architect worked on it and has a striking facade. The specifications of the units are also well designed. The typical floor to high ceilings have been made 2.5 to 2.6 metres whihc is 15 centimetres higher than a typical London apartment, to make the the place more airy. Lots of natural lighting with timber flooring and good quality interior appliances from Bosch and Siemens. Every aprtment has a balcony and the there is a large courtyard.”
