Briton jailed for 14 years for having sex with underage Thai boys - Thailand - crime - Chonburi - child abuse

A Bangkok court Monday sentenced a British national to 14 years in jail for luring two underage boys and sexually abusing them.

According to the lawsuit filed at the Ratchadapisek Criminal Court, defendant Robert John Alexander Hoseman, 47, allegedly lured the two 12-year-old boys in Chonburi's Bang Lamung district in late 2004 and performed oral sex on them.

Hoseman denied any wrongdoing. He claimed that the boys had given their consent to the sex act.

Having examined the evidence, the court found Hoseman guilty and gave him a total jail term of 14 years - 12 years for sexually abusing children under the age of 15 and 2 years for luring minors away from their parents.
