Grenade attacks target Thai Defence Ministry, National Anti-Corruption Commission - Thailand - crime - Bangkok - Nonthaburi - NACC


Thailand's Defence Ministry and National Anti-Corruption Commission was targeted in two separate grenade attacks on Saturday.



The incident happened at 11 pm Saturday.

The grenade was fired from the side of Assadang Road, Bangkok, which is about 30 metres from the Mahadthai Intersection.

A soldier was injured in the blast that also damaged windows and ceiling of the building.

In another grenade attack on Saturday evening, a grenade was thrown at the head office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) on Sanam Binnam Road, Nonthaburi.

The incident happened at 9:50 pm. The grenade landed in the park inside the compound and dug a 30-cm wide hole in the ground.

There were no reports of injuries.
