Phuket Divers Set for Three Days of Conservation, Cleanup - Phuket - environment - Thailand

The Thai Diving Association and the Tourism Authority of Thailand are linking up for a three-day exhibition and seminar on marine environment conservation next month.

The Save the Nature@Phuket event, to be detailed at a media conference next Monday, with centre on the Phuket Aquarium from October 28-30.

Experts from the Phuket Marine Biological Centre will be involved on topics such as coral bleaching and sustainability.

An exhibition with up to 40 booths from companies connected with diving will be held for the three days.

Friday October 28 will be marked by a seminar in Thai and English on conservation tourism for students, divers and dive masters.
