Mission Impossible Actor Jeremy Renner Escapes Bar Brawl In Thailand

The Hollywood star quickly left the scene at the hotel on the island of Phuket and reports he sustained injuries have been denied by his publicist.

"Jeremy Renner was indeed in a bar in Phuket Thailand as a vicious attack on a patron took place but was not injured or involved," a statement from his publicist said.

"He exited as the fight took place," a statement from his publicist said.

It has been reported that six staff at the bar were arrested and charged with attempted murder of the general manager of a local resort.

Manager Vorasit Issara was stabbed in the stomach and slashed in the neck with an axe, Phuket police told local reporters.
