First Japanese Regional Jet to be developed by MITSUBISHI

The company, which had produced a performing business jet (the Diamond) in the past, will develop the first Japanese commercial jet, the MRJ. A dedicated company was founded for this specific purpose, Mitsubishi Aircraft Corp. Big companies will side the aircraft development, whose maiden flight is scheduled for 2013: Toyota - Mitsui - Sumitomo.

London based South Bank University supports the concept presented by two of its students: the FootLume. This evolved roofmat is equipped with sensors and built-in lighting devices. It is aimed to provide a smooth light around and ahead of your path to guide you when you walk in the dark (after a wake up at night for example). The concept is now in need of an industrial & marketing investor.

Do french editors fear the future or don't they? They ordered a large study about the future of the electronic book, or e-book. French Ministry of Culture started also its own study, assigning a specialist of the new media press.

This first experience ever was performed -like often- by a French researcher, Edouard-Léon Scott de Martinville. But it could not be exploited before long -like often with french discoveries-, in fact before today. The invention was called phonautograph, a term also used in Jules Verne novels to describe future communication tools described in his stories.
